# Alpha Test (Complete) We are excited to announce that the Rune Hero Alpha Test will officially begin. This test will involve **1,400 players**, offering you the first chance to experience the core features and combat systems of the game. ### **Test Rules and Details** During this Alpha Test, players will have the option to control either a Mage or a Berserker, embarking on an adventure to challenge dungeons. By defeating enemies, players will collect **Rune Shards**, which will be used to rank participants. Both Mages and Berserkers will have separate leaderboards, and **300 winners** from each class will be selected based on their rankings. ### **Test Duration** October 18th – 27th, 8 am HKT ### Download Link [Click here to download the game](https://runehero.itch.io/runehero) ### **Test Rewards** The top 300 players from both the Mage and Berserker leaderboards will receive 1 Genesis Whitelist spot each. ## Community Tournament We are also introducing a Community Tournament in this Alpha Test. Players can optionally include their community name when creating a character to represent their community. ### Summary of Rules The top 100 players from both the Mage and Berserker leaderboards will be grouped by community. Communities with more players in the top 100 will rank higher.
