# Alpha Test (Complete)

We are excited to announce that the Rune Hero Alpha Test will officially begin. This test will involve **1,400 players**, offering you the first chance to experience the core features and combat systems of the game.

### **Test Rules and Details**

During this Alpha Test, players will have the option to control either a Mage or a Berserker, embarking on an adventure to challenge dungeons. By defeating enemies, players will collect **Rune Shards**, which will be used to rank participants. Both Mages and Berserkers will have separate leaderboards, and **300 winners** from each class will be selected based on their rankings.

### **Test Duration**

October 18th – 27th, 8 am HKT

### **Test Rewards**

The top 300 players from both the Mage and Berserker leaderboards will receive 1 Genesis Whitelist spot each.

## Community Tournament

We are also introducing a Community Tournament in this Alpha Test. Players can optionally include their community name when creating a character to represent their community.

### Summary of Rules

The top 100 players from both the Mage and Berserker leaderboards will be grouped by community. Communities with more players in the top 100 will rank higher. If tied, the highest individual player ranking within the community will determine the winner.

### **Community Rewards**

The top three communities will share 20 Genesis Whitelist spots, distributed as follows:

**1st place:** 10 Genesis Whitelist spots\
**2nd place:** 7 Genesis Whitelist spots\
**3rd place:** 3 Genesis Whitelist spots
